This policy covers securityvault.io, the marketing and documentation website of SecurityVault Systems Private Limited It explains what is stored on your device when you visit, why, and how to control it. It supplements our privacy notice.

02 · What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels — serve similar purposes. European ePrivacy rules, the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and US state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA) all regulate how these technologies may be used, and distinguish between what is strictly necessary for a service you request and everything else.
03 · What this site stores

Both entries are functional preferences you trigger yourself, stay on your device, are never transmitted to us or anyone else, and contain no identifiers. This site sets no HTTP cookies at all — you can verify this in your browser's developer tools.
04 · What we do not use
- No analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any client-side analytics on this site.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking. No ad pixels, no remarketing tags, no social-media embeds.
- No third-party requests. Fonts, scripts, and styles are self-hosted. Your visit here is not disclosed to any font CDN, tag manager, or CDN analytics service.
- No fingerprinting. We do not derive device fingerprints or probabilistic identifiers.
05 · Product cookies
The SecurityVault application at app.securityvault.io sets exactly two strictly necessary cookies for authenticated sessions: a refresh token cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict — keeps you signed in without exposing credentials to page scripts) and a csrf_token cookie (double-submit CSRF protection). Both are essential to deliver the service you sign in to, are never used for tracking, and are covered by your organization's agreement with us and the privacy notice.
06 · Legal basis
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly request does not require consent. Both entries above exist only to honor a choice you actively made (picking a theme; dismissing a notice), so they fall within that exemption. Under the DPDP Act and US state privacy laws, no personal data is collected through this site's storage, so no consent or opt-out mechanism is triggered. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for opt-in consent first and update this policy before doing so.
07 · Managing preferences
- Theme — use the theme toggle in the site header at any time.
- Clearing storage — delete site data for securityvault.io in your browser settings; both keys are removed instantly and the site keeps working.
- Global Privacy Control — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; GPC signals are nevertheless honored. See Your privacy choices.
08 · Changes
If we change what this site stores, we will update the inventory in section 03 and the version stamp above before the change ships. Material changes are announced on the changelog.
